The Laboratory at Bluegrass Community Hospital is a full service laboratory providing service to our community and surrounding counties 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our laboratory is accredited by COLA and is committed to maintaining a high level of excellent service to our patients.

Our highly skilled and caring team of Medical Laboratory Scientists conduct a wide range of diagnostic and specialty testing which includes the following:

Hematology
Coagulation
Chemistry
Urinalysis
Toxicology
Immunohematology
Serology
Urinalysis
Microbiology

Pathology services are also provided through Pathology and Cytology Laboratory.

Our laboratory ensures that every lab test is completed in the shortest amount of time possible. Results will be sent to your provider and you may also obtain a copy of your results from our Medical Records Department.

Outpatient laboratory services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After hours registration will be completed by the Emergency Department Registration Clerk. Patients must have a valid physician order and no appointment is necessary.
