Physical, Speech & Occupational Therapy

Bluegrass Community Hospital Rehabilitation provides inpatient and outpatient care to the communities of Woodford and Anderson Counties. The Physical Therapy Center at Bluegrass Community utilizes techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise to promote ROM and strength, modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, moist heat and ice, and education to prevent further injury to assist our patients in meeting their rehabilitation goals. Some of the other services we provide are postoperative Physical Therapy, sports retraining, orthotic fabrication, post-mastectomy rehabilitation, work conditioning/work hardening, job description/job site analysis, and wound care.

Hours of Operation

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Services are provided for both hospital inpatients & outpatients by licensed Physical Therapist.

A Written Physicians Order is Required

The order needs to include the following information:

• Patient’s name
• Referring MD name
• Diagnosis
• Patient’s phone number (if faxed order)
• Type of insurance coverage

Patients register in the Clinic itself: it is not necessary to go to registration first.
