Bluegrass Community Hospital awarded Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification from The Joint Commission

VERSAILLES, Ky. (May 30, 2024) – Bluegrass Community Hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Certification.
Bluegrass Community Hospital underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review in March of 2024. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with related certification standards including stroke program management and facilitating quality stroke clinical care. Joint Commission standards are developed in consultation with healthcare experts and providers, measurement experts and patients. The reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews.
